Erin Stesch is a visual artist and educator living in Durham, NC. She graduated from ECU in 1994 with a BFA in sculpture and went on to UNCG for art education, graduating in 2002.  She has taught high school art and art history in the public school system for 21 years. In 2009, she achieved National Board Certification in Early Adolescent to Young Adult Art. She renewed certification in 2019.

Erin's specialties are acrylic painting, mixed media art and ceramic sculpture. Her favorite subjects are animals and landscapes, embraced through a unique combination of intuitive process painting and realism. She cares deeply about the issue of deforestation and how the urban sprawl, both locally and worldwide, affects natural habitats.

Erin has exhibited at ArtSpace, 311 Gallery and Morgan Street Food Hall in Raleigh, the ArtsCenter in Carrboro, Craven Allen Gallery in Durham and various places in Greensboro, NC. Please contact her for questions [email protected]
